Brightstar remotes are the old model universal remote that can work with many TV brands in the market. But it is not sure how well it be paired with new modern smart TVs with IR features. Here, I’ll show you how to program Brightstar remote codes to TV, and you’ll get access to all of the working 3-digit codes.
I have good news for you. With so many most popular TV brands, it works without pairing. With the most popular TV brands such as RCA, Samsung, Vizio, Philips, Panasonic, Quasar, Zenith, GE, etc, the Brightstar remote works without programming. Just put batteries in and start using them.
In any case, the remote won’t recognize it, still, there are 3-digit codes for these brands for pairing.

How to Program Brightstar Universal Remote Without Code?
Brightstar only offers one or two codes for a specific TV brand, and I am afraid that the given code won’t work. Then what to do next?
Do not worry! Like any other universal remotes, Brightstar provides an auto-code search method to program it without manually inputting the code.
- Turn on your TV
- Press and hold down the Setup button until the LED starts blinking and stays ON
- Now press and release the CH+ key again and again until the channel changes
- The LED blink and lit
- Then press the ENTER button to register the code and lock it
An alternate method
If the auto-code entry does not work for you, then the code identification method is there.
- Point the Brightstar remote to the TV
- Press and hold down the setup button till the LED stays ON
- Now, press and release the Setup key
- Take your time pressing the keys 0 through 9 sequentially. When the LED blinks after entering a specific digit, it indicates that it’s the initial digit of your TV code
- Again press and release the number from 0 to 9 slowly to find the second digit
- Do the same step to get the third digit of the remote code
- Now stop, the code is accepted by your TV
