With the Zenith universal remote, commonly referred to as the Zen remote, you can control multiple devices from one place in your home effortlessly. User guides for Zen 100-700 models are provided here to assist users. The following models fall between these two: 300, 350, 400, 425, 450, and 525.

How to program the Zenith remote to a TV?
At the top of each remote, there is a button for code search and a button without it. The following are instructions for programming with the Code search key.
- Manually turn on your TV
- When the remote LED lights up, press and hold the CODE SEARCH button.
- You will now see the light blink twice and remain lit after pressing and releasing the TV button.
- Your TV brand’s 3-digit Zenith remote code can be found using the number keys on the remote
- You will see the indicator light turn off after entering the code
- You have now programmed your remote to work with your television
Remember:- A blinking LED indicates that the code you entered is incorrect. The code may need to be checked or a different code may be tried.
Once you have pointed your remote towards your TV, press a few keys on it.
No Code Button on Zen Remote For TV
You can set up your remote to the TV following these instructions if you use a ZEN 300 or other model without a CODE SEARCH button.
- Make sure the TV is turned on manually
- To activate the TV mode, hold the mode button (TV) for a few seconds until the LED indicator lights up
- Use the REWIND, PLAY, and FAST FORWARD buttons to enter the 3-digit code from the list
- Using 123 as an example, press REW once, PLAY twice, and FF three times to play the game
- The step can be skipped if the number is 0.
- When the code is 012, for example, press the Play button once and the FF button twice instead of the REW button
- In this case, the indicator light will turn off once you have entered the correct code
- The code will be saved when you press the Mute button
Codeless Programming
If the code isn’t listed, try using the automatic code search method. In the list of codes, you will see that LG TV, Element TV, Westinghouse TV, and other popular TV brands are not included. The Zenith remote can be synced to these TV brands using the code search method.
- Your device (TV) should be turned on
- The indicator will light up when you press and hold the mode TV button
- Start the search by pressing the POWER button
- Continuously press and release the Channel UP (+) button to cycle through the codes
- When the TV responds, keep pressing the CHANNEL+ button
- A 110 code, for example, will require you to press the remote a certain number of times to return to the TV
- You can get back the code if you skip over it by pressing the Channel – button
- After responding to the TV, press Mute to save the code
Make a note of the TV brand’s code on your phone or in a book so you can find it later. With the direct code entry method, you can program in the future.
