RCA universal remote programming for Vizio TV?
We can use the direct code entry method since we have our code ready. You just need to follow my instructions.
- The code can be found in the code booklet or on the list provided
- The power button illuminates when you press and hold the TV button
- The first code (four and five digits) for Vizio TV should be entered by continuing to hold the TV button
- You have entered the tight code if the POWER button is lit while pressing the TV button
- Incorrect codes are indicated by four blinking Power keys
- Re-enter the code/another code if you get an incorrect input signal (blinking four times)
- The TV button should be released and the remote should be used to control the TV
With your original Vizio XRT remote, you can control any Vizio TV function or control.
Vizio TV programming with RCA universal remote control
- Start by turning on your Vizio TV
- The remote should be pointed at the TV
- The Power button light will turn on when you hold the Code Search or Setup key
- Once the “TV” button is pressed, release it. Blinking and steady power light
- After pressing and releasing the Power button for 2 seconds, the TV will turn off.
- You need to press the Enter/OK button once the TV has turned off in order to save the code
The auto code search method is referred to as this method. Using this method, you can pair your remote to the TV even when none of the given codes work.
Remember:- There are different RCA remote models with different set-up keys, and some models have different code search keys as well. Use accordingly.

Pre-checks
The batteries inserted in the remote should be in good condition before pairing it with the TV. In particular, pairing with depleted batteries is a bad idea.
Disconnect the remote from the TV if there are any obstructions.
It is recommended that they do not exceed 10 meters in distance from each other.
I recommend that you reset or power recycle the remote by removing the batteries and syncing it with your Vizio smart TV with the code if you previously synced it with other devices, such as other TVs, DVD players, home theatres, etc.
