The Jumbo universal remote is an exclusive option for controlling multiple devices at your home with a narrow, lightweight, and easy-to-hold remote. Remote controls look like those found on car stereos. Despite being slightly wider, it does not pose any problems when held.
There are up to 8 different devices you can control with your Jumbo remote, including TVs, DVD players, and cable/satellite receivers. With a valid code, it makes programming easy, and it also supports auto code searching.
The Jumbo universal remote codes are in this article, as well as step-by-step programming instructions. Make sure you keep reading for all the details about both ways of programming.
A total of 42 keys represent different functions. It has a tiny indicator light at the top so we can see what’s going on.
Now let’s begin setting things up. In order to do that, we need to identify the relevant device codes for different brands.

Is it possible to program a remote control for a Jumbo?
From the above table, find the code that corresponds to your device brand and follow the instructions exactly
- If the RED indicator does not stay on, hold the CODE SEARCH button for a few seconds and release it
- Then, use the number keys to enter the 3-digit code
- You will be able to turn off the LED indicator if the code is entered correctly
- When the code is entered incorrectly, the RED light will flash
- The channel UP button should be pressed with your device turned on. No further programming is required if the device is responding
- Alternately, enter another code from the table and repeat the steps
Please verify the functionality of all keys after you’ve completed the pairing process.
I receive many emails from people who are trying to set up their remote but are unable to with the code provided in the user manual. To program your Jumbo universal remote, simply use the auto-code search method if none of the codes work.
Auto-code search method
Use the remote control to turn on your device, whether it is a television, DVD, or whatever else you want to control.
Keep the CODE SEARCH key pressed and held until the LED indicator remains lit. Hold the key for a few seconds, then release it.
When your device is turned off, press and hold the POWER button on the Jumbo remote slowly and repeatedly until it is turned off. The time interval between pressing each button should be between 1 and 2 seconds.
The CHANNEL UP button should be repeatedly pressed until you receive a response like normal channel control.
To register the code, press and release the MUTE button when you notice the significant response.
During the testing phase, be sure that all the remote buttons are working properly, including CH+, CH-, Vol+, Vol-, and so on.
Which component do you want to control with the Jumbo universal remote?
You must tell your Jumbo remote which component you want to control whenever you program it to control multiple devices such as TV, DVD, SAT, etc.
For example, if you want to control your TV, press the TV button on the remote control. If you switch the remote to another mode, such as DVD, CBL, etc., it will remain in TV mode.
